Director of Finance and Administration
Washington Electric Cooperative, Inc. (WEC), a not-for-profit electric distribution cooperative in Marietta, Ohio, seeks candidates for the position of Director of Finance and Administration.
The position directs the activities of the finance and administration department: general ledger accounting, utility system accounting, reports and taxes, financial administration, personnel records, corporate insurance, corporate headquarter facilities maintenance, payroll, and fringe benefits, plus coordination of annual budget preparation.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with coursework in business management, is required. CPA or master's degree beneficial. Experience in electric utility accounting and business management may be substituted for some formal education. At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience required, preferably at the supervisory level or at an electric utility.
